Holly Willoughby has admitted that her new role co-hosting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is “bittersweet”.

Appearing on ITV’s This Morning alongside Philip Schofield, the blonde beauty revealed that she will be taking her children – Harry, 9, Belle, 7, and Chester, 3 – out of school to join her in Australia when filming starts in November.

The presenter is replacing her good pal Ant McPartlin on the show, as he takes a break from his TV career following his drink driving arrest.

Speaking about the exciting new role, she said, “When I first found out it’s exciting, bittersweet, but exciting.”

“The kids are coming with me so I had to talk to the schools then mum and dad are coming for a bit too.”

Holly and Phil also extended their congratulations to Holly’s I’m A Celebrity co-host Declan Donnelly, who recently welcomed his first child, a baby girl named Isla, with his wife Ali Astall.

Holly gushed: “I can’t wait for cuddles with her. I think she’ll be coming to Australia as well!”
