Harry Redknapp revealed that he turned down Strictly Come Dancing as he prepares to enter I’m a Celebrity…Get Me of Here!
The former football manager felt that he was so bad at dancing, his time in the competition would have been a complete joke.
“I was going to do Strictly this year, but I didn’t think I could dance, that was one thing. I actually had a trial with one of the professionals who came round my house,” he told The Sun.

The 71-year-old didn’t want to be the laughing stock of the competition, so he opted for I’m a Celeb instead: “That’s all I could have been, someone to laugh at. But it wasn’t for me.”
The celeb was asked whether his decision was impacted by of the infamous Strictly curse, as his son, Jamie’s, marriage ended after his wife appeared on the show in 2016.
“Don’t be ridiculous. For one thing I wouldn’t want to run off with any other woman in the whole world, that is for sure,” he responded.
