Gemma Collins in trouble over ‘blatantly Photoshopped’ pictures on her fashion site

The TOWIE star has landed herself in hot water

Gemma Collins could face legal action due to some ‘blatantly Photoshopped’ images on her clothing website.

In a series of images promoting her clothing collection, Gemma’s head was Photoshopped on a model’s body, which was then made bigger.

According to the Daily Star, model Katie Green wasn’t happy with the images being used, and has sought legal advice.

However, a spokesperson for the TOWIE star told MailOnline, “The images were used in good faith by Gemma. An external firm assured her that they owned the copyright and had commissioned the shoots.”

But, a source close to the model said, “She’s furious and thinks it’s a total infringement. It’s a terribly bad Photoshop. A child could see it’s a fake.”

“You can tell they’ve just stuck Gemma’s head on Katie’s body. You can still tell it’s Katie though. It’s her hands, shoes and her poses.”

Another source said that Gemma regrets the mistake, and didn’t mean any harm.

“Gemma has been so busy of late and didn’t have time to do the shoot. Given that the model’s body looks so similar to hers, she thought it would be OK.”

“In hindsight, she wishes she hadn’t done this to three of the images as she would never want to upset her fans,” they said.

The images have since been removed from Gemma’s website.
