Gemma Atkinson has announced she is pregnant with her boyfriend Gorka Márquez.
The couple met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 and went public in February last year.
The actress shared the news on Instagram with a picture of her two dogs wearing signs around their necks, one read: “Guess what… Mum’s pregnant!” and the second with: “We’re going to be big brothers!”
Gemma captioned the cute pic: “And what Amazing big brothers they will be! Myself & Gorks are beyond excited and happy and feel incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year. Baby Marquez!!! We love you loads already @gorka_marquez.”
Gorka also shared the same pic with the caption: “Thank you for the greatest gift in life. Myself and Gem are beyond thrilled to be welcoming our new family member later this year!”
“Baby Marquez Norm and ollie can’t wait to start their big brother duties.”
The couple’s announcement comes just after they appeared on Lorraine where they gave viewers an insight into their home and Gemma spoke about her body and weight, she said: “My nickname at school was thunder thighs. We’ve all got big legs in our family.”
However her loving boyfriend Gorka insisted he loved her physique and admitted: “Maybe because I’m Spanish I just want a curvy woman.”
