Prue Leith was left feeling mortified today, after she accidentally revealed the winner of The Great British Bake Off on Twitter – 12 hours before the final aired.
In a since deleted tweet, the judge let slip who had won, spoiling the surprise for fans of the show.
Taking to Twitter, the cookery writer wrote, “I am so sorry to the fans of the show for my mistake this morning.
“I am in a different time zone and mortified by my error #GBBO.”
