Fleur East, runner up of The X Factor 2014, has reportedly been dropped by Simon Cowell’s record label Syco after three years.Â
The 29-year-old lost out to winner Ben Haenow, who has already been dropped by Syco.
A source told MailOnline, “Fleur had some great times with Syco but it was felt by both sides now was the time to go down different paths.
“She will always remain a friend of the label – because everyone’s really fond of her.”
The Sax singer is planning to release new music in 2018, not letting her departure from Syco halt her career.
“Fleur has plans to release new music in 2018.”
“She has been recording new songs for some time now and is excited to share her music next year,” another source said.
