Coronation’s Street’s Brooke Vincent has opened up about Roxanne Pallet’s accusations against Ryan Thomas.

The actress worked alongside Ryan for twelve years on the show and she has been following his journey on Celebrity Big Brother.

The 26-year-old stepped out with her boyfriend, Kean Bryan, at the launch of The Couture Club’s Dundrum store on Friday.

“Ryan’s like my brother and he’s always got my back. I think he’s done really, really well in pressing situations,” the actress added.

Brooke also said that everyone on the Corrie set were like family and they always support and help each other.

“We all play our part. It’s mad because we have the people who are like Sally’s age, they’re like my mum’s, I’ve got like fifty mums there.

“If something’s going on where I feel a bit nervous about stuff or unsure about something else there is always somebody to say ‘It’s cool, we’ve got it,'” she explained.

Brooke has a close bond with everyone on the set of Coronation Street, but especially as her younger cousin, Ellie, plays the role of Faye on the show.

“When I was younger I always had long hair and she was like ‘I want to have long hair like Brooko and I want to be like Brooko.’ So, when she got Corrie it was a bit of a ‘Like Brooko’ moment,” the actress revealed.

“She’s done really, really well and I’m so proud of her because it’s a lot different now from when I was younger on the soap and social media is more prominent. It’s a lot of pressure in and around when you’re posting things and you’re growing up.”

“You make mistakes and luckily I was lucky enough to kind of do it in the background and she really, really does well with herself,” the Corrie star said.

“I’m protective of her, overprotective! More so because she is mine and I think sometimes you want people to tell you things that they never did with me. So, it’s always nice that I can do that with her,” she continued.

As for her character’s on-screen romance with an older woman, Brooke said that Stirling Gallacher is great to work with.

“I love Stirling, who plays Paula, she’s lovely and it’s a really nice balance with us. She gets me and I get her and it’s nice to go to work and get on with the people you work with day in and day out. So, it’s lovely, she just slotted right in,” she said.
