Cheryl has slammed claims that she was acting like a diva backstage at Hits Radio Live in Manchester.

The singer performed her first gig in four years on Sunday, but following her appearance on stage, sources allegedly told The Sun that she made a string of diva demands behind the scenes.

A source told them: “Cheryl did a great job on her Instagram profile of making it look like she was the most accessible A-lister ever, posting pictures with Mabel and showing videos of her goofing about dancing in her dressing room.

“But the reality could not have been more different. Cheryl had everyone clear her dressing room and the corridors and surrounding areas whenever she was near.”

However, Cheryl’s reps have since told Goss.ie, “Officially from our side, this story is completely inaccurate and isn’t true.”

The news comes just days after the songstress denied claims that she lost out on a massive West End role to Caroline Flack due to her diva demands.

While Cheryl admitted that she was approached for the role of Roxie Hart in the London production of Chicago, the mother-of-one claimed she was the one who turned it down.

Her reps said: “We can confirm that Cheryl was approached with an offer to take the role but turned it down.”
