Everything we know about the new Royal line of succession

Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their third child, a baby boy, this morning.

So, with the new royal arrival in mind, we took a look at what way the new order of succession stands as the sixth great-grandchild has entered the Royal Family.

As it stands, Kate and Will’s baby boy will be fifth in line to the throne.

Queen Elizabeth II is the sovereign, while Prince Charles is next in line to the throne, with son Prince William third in line.

Next is Prince George, son to the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, along with Princess Charlotte coming behind in fourth.

Fifth to the throne will be taken by the new Prince of Cambridge.

Prince Harry has been moved to sixth place in line to the throne, with the Duke of York in seventh place.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are eighth and ninth.

The Royal Family have a busy year ahead of them, as her Majesty just celebrated her 92nd birthday.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will wed on the 19th of May.
