Emily Atack has revealed that she was left in tears, after a colleague exposed himself and pressured her for sex in a hotel room.
The actress opened up about the incident in her new book, ‘Are We There Yet?: To Indignity… and Beyond!’, and said it took place during a wrap party for an unnamed “project”.
Not revealing the identity of the man, Emily referred to him as ‘Dave’ as she described what happened.
Emily said she was with a group in a hotel when they ran out of wine, and someone gave her a room key to go and get booze from their mini bar.
The Inbetweeners star didn’t find any alcohol when she went to the room, and said: “All of a sudden I turned round and Dave is standing there, in the room with his d*** out.”
“I froze. I remember saying, drunkenly, ‘No’, but I didn’t have a clue what to do,” she wrote.
Emily said ‘Dave’ refused to let her go, but he ended up letting her leave after she kissed him in desperation.
“I was drunk. I wasn’t single. I was with someone at the time, so I had no intention of doing anything with anybody,” she explained.
Emily said “the next day I cried my eyes out”, before adding, “I’d love to say that with age, courage and experience, if it happened now, I’d kick him in the balls.”
“But when you’re drunk, in a room with a man who holds more power than you, instinct takes over, to get you the hell out of there.”
Emily is best known for starring in popular British sitcom The Inbetweeners, and she also came close to winning last year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
