Hugh Grant has welcomed his fifth child, it has been revealed.

The 57-year-old welcomed his fifth child with his third partner Anna Eberstein, but the couple weren’t the ones to make the announcement – as Hugh’s pal Elizabeth Hurley let it slip during an interview.

Speaking about how Hugh is handling fatherhood on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday night, Elizabeth said, “He had another one last week. He has five!”

“He was over 50 when he spawned them all! He’s an enchanting dad—really, really sweet. Having these kids has transformed him from a very miserable person into a fairly miserable person. It’s improved him. He’s gone up the scale.”

Speaking about her friendship with Hugh, she also told E!’s Daily Pop, “I’m very lucky that 31 years into our friendship, he’s still my best friend in the world. He’s a really great guy.”

“I see him a lot; I speak to him a lot. You know, he’s not a father of five, he has five kids and he’s a great dad. Yeah, he will remain my best friend for life.”

Hugh and Anna were already parents to two children – their first child John Mungo was born in September 2012, and their second child was born in December 2015.

Hugh is also father to two children, Tabitha and Felix, who he had with Tinglan Hong. His eldest child, Tabitha, was born in September 2011, and Felix was born in 2013.
