Ed Sheeran has hit back at claims that he used a backing track while performing at Glastonbury.
Ed took to twitter to set the record straight about his performance, after many fans questioned whether he was playing a live set.
Never thought I’d have to explain it, but everything I do in my live show is live, it’s a loop station, not a backing track. Please google x

Ed is famed for using a loop pedal system where he records music and vocals as he is playing live, and then plays them back over and over throughout the performance.
This system gives the effect of many instruments or vocals being played at once and may have confused some fans.
There’s a pub singer on telly strumming his guitar and singing to some backing tracks. No, wait, it’s Ed Sheeran.

think it would have given a better atmosphere if Ed Sheeran had employed a band instead of a backing track? #glastonbury2017 #glastonbury

#Glastonbury @EDSHEERAN not sure about ES-talented, but could be listening to one of his albums, plenty of backing track action going on.
