The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have revealed Prince Louis’ christening date.

Their 8-week-old son will be christened on Monday the 9th of July, Kensington Palace confirmed.

A statement announcing the news revealed, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce that the christening of Prince Louis will take place on Monday 9th July at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, London.”

Prince Louis was born on the 23rd of April and his parents have confirmed that they will be releasing photos from his baptism to the public.

Like his sibling’s christenings, Louis’ service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, who baptised both Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

He also recently officiated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
