More details about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding have been revealed.

According to E! News, the groom has asked his brother, Prince William, to be his best man when he marries the American actress at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton will not have a role in the nuptials, as she will be busy with three children, as she’s due to give birth to their third child in April.

However, an insider has said that Harry’s niece and nephew, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will have roles on the day of the wedding – as will the daughter of Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney.

There isn’t traditionally a “best man” at a royal wedding, but Prince William broke with tradition and asked Harry be his best man when he married Kate in 2011.

Last Monday, Clarence House announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were engaged, a year and a half after they started secretly dating.

The couple will exchange vows at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018.

The wedding will be a big celebration, but, Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth II may not be in attendance due to the fact that Meghan is a divorcee.

Meghan was married to Trevor Engelson in 2011, but due to “irreconcilable differences” the couple divorced in 2013.

In 2006, the Queen didn’t attend her son Prince Charles’ wedding to Camilla Parker Bowles.

A royal source reportedly told The Mirror that The Queen said she was “putting her duties as the head of the Church of England before family feelings” just before the wedding.

Though the Church of England approved the remarriage of divorcees in 200, the Queen is reportedly still taking a step back.
