Danny Dyer reportedly warned his daughter Dani to dump Jack Fincham, weeks after they left the Love Island villa.
The actor’s daughter confirmed her split from Jack on Thursday, just four months after they were crowned the winners of Love Island.
Although the EastEnders star liked Jack, sources have told The Sun Online that Danny is “secretly overjoyed” about their split.
An insider said, “Her dad Danny and her family warned her early on that they didn’t think sticking by Jack was the best idea.”
“They thought she’d be stronger alone. Her dad tried to advise her as much as he could.”
“She genuinely loved him and hoped it was forever. But it got to a point where it was clearly over and there was no turning back. Dani’s family are overjoyed. Of course they like Jack but this is Dani’s time to shine,” they added.
The news comes following reports that Dani was the one who dumped Jack – leaving him heartbroken.
Despite their split, the couple still plan on working together, as they’re both set to host the backstage coverage at the NTAs early next year.
