Danniella Westbrook has been released on bail, following her arrest yesterday.
The actress was released after she was interrogated for 12 hours over allegations of “malicious communications and witness intimidation”.
Danniella has been ordered to return to Hatfield police station on May 6 pending further investigation.
According to The Sun, the 44-year-old was arrested in her hometown of Essex at around at 2pm yesterday, and she was quizzed by police until 2am.
A Hertfordshire police spokesman said, “The 44-year-old woman we arrested yesterday has now been released on bail until May 6 pending further investigation.”
Danniella is reportedly accused of taking £10,000 from a former friend whose business she “tried to destroy on social media”.
An insider previously told The Sun Online, “It is suspected that Danniella has taken £10,000 from this woman who she was once friends with.”
“It is alleged that Danniella refused to pay the money back and then things turned nasty. This woman had considered her a friend and had really helped her out in the past, and paid for a lot of things for her.”
