Dancing on Ice’s Saara Aalto has reportedly been asked to join the Spice Girls on tour.
The girl band have confirmed their reunion tour with Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner taking part – but Victoria Beckham won’t be involved.
According to The Sun, Saara revealed that she was asked to replace Posh Spice after she joked about being the sixth member.
The Finnish star revealed that Mel C told her, “You can be the fifth one if you want. Well, there’s always room for another great singer. I can say that.”
The former X Factor contestant admitted: “They want to have a fifth member for the tour. I was like, ‘Is this a real question?’ It’s insane.”
Saara already has a good relationship with the girls as she revealed Geri wrote her new song.
She said: “That is even crazier. Geri wrote it and she wants me to sing it. I am also hoping to write new music with her soon because she is so exciting and bubbly.”
However, she’s currently focusing on ‘Dancing On Ice,’ as she is set to make history tomorrow – as she will be the first ever contestant to sing and skate on the show.
