Curtis Pritchard has revealed the secret to his relationship with girlfriend Maura Higgins.
The loved up pair, who have been together since meeting on Love Island, recently made their relationship official.
Longford beauty, Maura, appeared on the red carpet alongside her boyfriend at the Pride of Britain awards last night.
Speaking to The Sun at the awards, Curtis admitted the pair are going at their own pace.
“We don’t let anyone else influence it [their relationship]. When we came out everyone was saying ‘why aren’t you making it official? Why aren’t you posting more on social media?'”
“We just want to chill out and take it easy. We’ve only known each other three-and-a-half months. We are just enjoying what’s what.”
As for the secret to their growing relationship, the dancer says it’s simply giving each other “space.”
“I allow her to do all of the things that she wants to do and she allows me the same. That gives us space,” he explained.
“Then when we come and see each other, we really miss each other.”
Maura is busy in rehearsals for her upcoming stint on Dancing on Ice.
She is also set to launch her own edit with leading retailer, Boohoo, this week.
