Celebrity Big Brother fans are reacting to Roxanne Pallett’s departure from the show.
The actress sparked controversy earlier this week when she accused Ryan Thomas of punching her, which resulted in the former Coronation Street star getting a formal warning.
Over 11,000 viewers complained to U.K. regulatory body, Ofcom, for the removal of Roxanne.
This morning it was announced that the 36-year-old left the CBB house and many fans have taken to Twitter to express their views on the former housemate.
2 women are killed each week due to domestic violence and 1.2 million cases of serious domestic violence was reported last year. Women have been fighting so hard to have their voices heard on the severity of these issues and @RoxannePallett is on national TV making a joke of it.

As a woman who actually was the victim of domestic abuse I find @RoxannePallett behaviour diagraceful. She was not punched with any force or aggression at all. I wish her all the karma she deserves. Poor Ryan.

Roxanne actually needs psychiatric help. She’s not stable!!! What a sorry state to be in. So glad Ryan can now enjoy the time he has left on there! https://t.co/edQCJD4zMO

Although many viewers accused the actress of making a mockery of domestic violence, others defended the star’s reaction.
Domestic violence charity, Women’s Aid, took to Twitter to respond to the backlash Roxanne was receiving online.
“Play fighting may not seem serious but if you have experienced domestic abuse it can seem frightening & even trigger memories of the abuse. That’s why it is so important for us to show empathy for someone who is clearly upset,” the charity tweeted.

Others stated that they felt the Emmerdale star had mental health issues and that Big Brother should have removed her from the house immediately.
