Bill Murray saves student house party from being shutdown by police in Scotland

This is so random!

Bill Murray randomly saved a student house party from being shutdown by police in Scotland this week.

The Hollywood actor left a bunch of Scottish students starstruck when he turned up at their flat in St Andrews, Fife.

The Ghostbusters star, who is in Scotland for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship golf, was invited by Glasgow University student Hugh Kelly after meeting him at a pub.

He told The Scottish Sun: “He started drinking with us and we managed to get him back to ours after. He’s nearly 70 and he’s just there getting hammered with us.”

At the party, Bill got involved by getting up to sing classic Scottish folk song Loch Lomond, and Hugh shared a video of the moment online.

After the party started to get a little rowdy, cops showed up to try and shut it down – but Bill stepped in to save the day.

Hugh said: “Bill stood up and just stared at them, and then the police were just like, ‘Oh sorry guys, just keep it down a bit, have a good night’. He’s an odd guy but a lovely guy.”
