Ariana Grande’s benefit concert WILL go ahead in wake of London attack

Ariana Grande’s concert will go ahead this evening as security is stepped up following the country’s second terrorist attack in two weeks.

In London last night, seven people were killed and 48 were injured after three men drove a van into a crowd on a bridge and set upon people in a crazed knife attack.

People wondered whether the One Love benefit gig, which will feature Justin Bieber and Coldplay, would still go ahead.

Greater Manchester Police has said this morning the event, due to be held at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground, will go ahead but security will be stepped up.

The force is warning the threat of a further attack is ‘highly likely’ and urged people to be vigilant.

So far Ariana Grande has neither confirmed or denied the concert will go ahead but tweeted that she was ‘praying for London’.
