Ariana Grande lashes out Manchester Pride bosses for cutting set short

Ariana Grande has spoken out against Manchester Pride bosses, after the musician was limited to a short set time at the event.

During the event, the No Tears Left To Cry singer told the crowd that she was told to keep her performance to the time.

“We were told to keep this somewhat, you know, abbreviated, but we couldn’t leave without doing one more special thing for you guys, because obviously Manchester holds a very special place in my heart,” she told the crowd.

“So I wanted to do just one more thing for you guys – if you could sing along, it would be really magical.”

“I love you Manchester. Thank you so much for having me.”

Many fans expressed their disappointment at the length of Ariana’s performance.

“#Manchesterpridelive was INCREDIBLE but headlining act, @ArianaGrande was on for about half an hour??” one tweeted.

However, others stuck up for the musician following her traumatic experience during the Manchester attack two years ago.

“People moaning about how short @ArianaGrande performance was, hadn’t it occurred to any1 maybe she was scared about being back in Manchester due to the Manchester bombings? It’s got to have been triggering & I have so much respect for her for performing,” said one Twitter user.
