Ant McPartlin may save his marriage with Lisa Armstrong if he ditches toxic friends that he believes are partly responsible for his recent return to rehab.
The couple split in January after eleven years of marriage but a source has told The Sun all is not lost yet.
Lisa has apparently told friends that the star’s recent behaviour was brought on by toxic friends and that if the TV presenter cuts them out of is life he may be able to get their relationship back on track when he gets in to residential rehab.
The makeup artist had confided in a friend who then explained the situation to The Sun.
“She thinks the fact he’s now hit rock-bottom will push him back to her and that he wasn’t thinking straight when he filed for divorce.”
“Lisa thinks that deep down he wants her back, and thinks once he’s out of rehab they can rekindle.”
She is reportedly still wearing her wedding ring which is a positive sign for the pair.
For two years, which her friends described as “hell”, the Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist had been trying to help Ant overcome his demons with little luck.
