Ant McPartlin has confirmed that he is six months sober.
The television presenter hung out with an old friend of over twenty years to celebrate his achievement.
The 42-year-old got into a collision with two vehicles in April of this year and was fined £86,000 as well getting a ban of twenty months from driving, as he plead guilty to being twice over the drink drive limit at the time.
The presenter has since taken a break from his hosting duties and is set to make a return to the silver screen in 2019.
Ant’s friend, who he recently met up with, described the I’m A Celeb host as “6 months sober, annoyingly healthy looking, and happier than I’ve seen him in years.”
“Immensely proud of this lad for his strength and determination to face up to his issues and get help,” he continued.
Ant responded to his mate and tweeted: “Thanks pal. Really appreciate it. Lovely seeing you too. It really was long overdue. #weloveagoodlunch Hope you’re using your Jcrew tote bag!”

Although Ant won’t make a return to television until next year, Dec is still hosting shows.
The father-of-one is set to host I’m A Celeb alongside Holly Willoughby this year and also plans to bring his wife and newborn daughter along for the trip.
