X Factor hopeful Janet Grogan has told how her parents couldn’t stop crying after she was axed.
The Tallaght singer was in the final six to be taken to Simon Cowell’s judges home.
However the 26-year-old was dropped in a last-minute decision by the music maestro.
And Janet said: “My mam and dad were so upset. You could see the devastation in my face when I was in the chair, and that was really hard for them to watch.

“My mam was bawling her eyes out – they felt they had let me down after not being there.
“Every contestant had family there, but it was too last-minute for my parents, so I was on my own.”
Yesterday, Goss.ie told how Simon Cowell admitted he was wrong to axe Janet.

Asked if she would consider returning to audition again, she said: “It’s too fresh to answer that.”
