X Factor's Chris Leonard insists Stereo Kicks AREN'T cursed – after car crash gives them more bad luck

Irish X Factor star Chris Leonard has insisted the band aren’t cursed – after facing yet another piece of bad luck.

The Meath singer, and three other members of Stereo Kicks, were involved in a car crash on Monday night.

They were rear-ended while leaving the studios where the TV series is filmed – and Chris feels lucky no-one was hurt.

Bad luck: Chris has been hit with X Factor curse

But it is another piece of bad luck for Louis’ eight piece boyband, who were the bottom two last week and also believe the X Factor mansion is haunted.

Unlucky Chris, 19, said: “We were going to film at Fountain Studios and a car just hit the back of us.

“It was me, Casey, Charlie and Reece. I was fine. I think Casey (was) just shook up.”

Their car smash came after Stereo Kicks went into the sing-off and barely scraped through when it went to the public vote, and Lola Saunders was sent home.

But Chris vowed the band would be pushing each other not to get caught up in another deadlock situation.

Family: Chris wants to come see parents Paddy and Trish

“We always try to get together and psyche each other up and get prepared for it,” he told the Sun.

“We let each other know we have each other’s backs and just give us that extra bit of confidence as we go on stage.”

He also hopes get home to see parents Paddy and Trish — who have been unable to afford to come and see him.

He said: “I’d love to come back to Dublin for a day, sometime soon or whenever I get the chance.

“At the moment, we’re just so busy with everything going on and I don’t know when I’m going to get a chance. Assuming I’m going to get the chance, I’ll be straight home.”
