A petition set up earlier this week by the family of axed X Factor contestant Samantha Atkinson has gained serious attraction in just two days.
Cousin of pub landlady Samantha Atkinson, launched the online petition in order for Samantha to be brought back on the show instead of controversial rapper Honey G – and it’s already gained almost 10,000 signatures.
Fans of the show were left furious after judge Sharon Osbourne chose to put Honey G through to the live shows, instead of talented singers including our very own Janet Grogan.
On the petition page, Samantha’s cousin Yasemin wrote, “Samantha Atkinson is my cousin and I and thousands of other X Factor viewers feel she was robbed of her place on live shows tonight, when Sharon Osbourne gave Honey G one of them places in final 12.
“Let’s sign and show X factor bosses and ITV that they have made a huge mistake!!!”
