First Dates Ireland has clearly impressed singleton viewers – as thousands have already applied for the second series.
While the show is yet to find any long-lasting love, a massive 4,500 Irish singles have already applied for the popular series second season, according to Independent.ie.
The dating series has been a hot topic since its premiere episode, and even pulled in an impressive 250,000 viewers for episode one and two.

While the show has been subject to plenty of awkward moments, it seems Irish people still want to get in on the action.
First Dates Ireland airs on Thursday, RTÉ2 at 9.30pm.
