I’m A Celeb bosses have reportedly spent almost £1.79 million on the celebrity’s fees this year.

After Noel Edmonds’ massive £600,000 pay cheque was revealed, making him the highest paid contestant ever, OddsMonkey have revealed what the other celebs are getting paid.

Former footie manager Harry Redknapp has nabbed the second biggest pay pocket, taking home a cool £500,000 for his time in the jungle.

Next in line is DIY SOS host Nick Knowles, who’s being paid £200,000, closely followed by actor and entertainer John Barrowman, who will receive £150,000 for taking part.

Former EastEnders actress Rita Simons has nabbed a £90,000 pay cheque, while The Chase star Anne Hegerty has secured a £75,000 deal.

Emily Atack, Fleur East, James McVey, and Sair Khan are all being paid £40,000 respectively for their time in the jungle – £25k more than this year’s lowest paid contestant Malique Thompson-Dwyer, who will pocket just £15,000.

OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “It is fascinating, if not hugely surprising, that the trend over recent years is to invest heavily in their contestants.”

“From Amir Khan and Stanley Johnson last year costing well in excess of half a million, to Noel Edmonds and Harry Redknapp this year costing in excess of £1million.

“ITV are really throwing money behind their flagship show, which has to compete with Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor in the ratings, but it is clearly hitting the heights.

“This year’s selection with Noel Edmonds now confirmed looks a brilliant line-up and has the potential to be one of the best ever – although interestingly Bookmakers are not convinced, they don’t see him winning with lengthy odds of up to 20/1, whilst he is amongst the favourites to be eliminated first,” he added.
