RTE have announced details of their new big-budget drama – a heist show called Clean Break.
Bosses are hoping Clean Break will match Love/Hate ratings by telling “the tale of a Wexford community driven by love, greed, status and revenge”.
Chiefs have splashed the cash on a star studded cast which includes a number familiar faces such as Aidan McArdle, who stars as Lord Loxley in Mr Selfridge, and Being Human actor Damien Maloney.

Production for the upcoming RTE One show began this week – and even features some of the talent behind Love/Hate.
Casting director Maureen Hughes is working on the project, after her time picking new gangsters for Stuart Carolan.
She said: “It’s all very exciting – we still have to tie down another few names and then we’re off.”
Insiders expect the show to be one of the hottest in town but no broadcasting date has yet been released.
