Irish fans of Game of Thrones will finally get to watch the show at the same time as viewers in North America.
A spokesperson for Sky has confirmed that the show’s eighth and final season will air on Sky Atlantic at the same time it’s broadcast on HBO in the US.
Of course, this means that Irish viewers will have to stay up until the early hours to watch it – but we’re sure plenty of die hard fans will be happy to do so.
The eighth season of Game of Thrones will premiere on April 15, and will air on Sky Atlantic at 2am Irish time.
For those not willing to stay up late, the episodes will air as normal on Monday evenings at 9pm.
