The Big Bang Theory cast SPEAK OUT about the show being cancelled

The Big Bang Theory have spoken out about the cancellation of the show.

It has been reported that the programme was axed after Jim Parsons told producers that he wanted to leave the show.

The actor has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt ‘goodbye’ message with fans.


“I feel such intense gratitude for our devoted viewers who are the ACTUAL reason we have been graced with the opportunity to explore these characters for 12 years of our lives,” the 45-year-old wrote.

The actor bid farewell to his cast-mates, crew and fans, thanking everyone for their ongoing contribution to the long-running sitcom.

Mayim Bialik, who plays the role of Amy, shared an emotional statement with fans on her website, writing: “Am I happy? Of course not. This has been my job since Melissa Rauch and I joined the cast as regulars in season 4. I love my job. I love my castmates, and I feel such appreciation for our incredible crew, our brave writers, our entire staff, and our amazing fans.”

Kaley Cuoco also shared a heartbreaking message with fans, stating that she’s “drowning in tears.”

The 32-year-old has become one of the highest paid television actress’ in the world, since playing the role of Penny in The Big Bang Theory.

The show premiered in 2007 with many huge stars such as Stephen Hawking, Carrie Fisher and Stan Lee all making appearances in the comedy.
