Stephanie Davis has been out of rehab for a month and is nervous about her return to filming Hollyoaks.
Davis has been undergoing treatment for alcoholism since having her Hollyoaks contract terminated for repeatedly showing up to work under the influence of alcohol.
Now that she is ready to start filming again, she is concerned about how she is going to balance being a working mother.
In a series of Instagram stories, she asked her followers if they had any advice on how to balance taking care of her 18-year-old month son, Caleb, with her upcoming work.
“At the start of next week, say he is going to bed at this time (11pm), I’ve got to learn god knows how many lines afterwards, and try and get some sleep.”
“Then get up, get me dressed, get him dressed, and then get all the way to work and be in make-up for half seven,” she explained.
She then asked followers, “so for any working mums who have to be in work early and get the kids up can I have some tips please?”
Davis is trying to make sure she is at her best before she starts filming again and is doing everything in her power to make that so.
The actress attributes her recovery to her rehab facility and even returns to the Charterhouse Clinic every Tuesday to “top-up” her treatment saying, “I always come back.”
“It’s part of the after treatment, this is basically my life now, I have to work the programme every single day for the rest of my life but I’m fine with that because I love the programme and because it’s given me a life that I never thought I’d have,” Davis told The Mirror.
On her return to the series, she said, “I’m over the moon to be given this amazing opportunity and so excited to bring feisty Sinead back to Hollyoaks.”
