Another character in Love/Hate has been killed off, but actor Ian Lloyd Anderson has said he knew it was coming.
His character Dean was brutally murdered by Fran in the latest episode, and Ian said he was warned he was going to be killed off.
“A year ago Stuart had kind of implied that I wouldn’t make it through the next series so it didn’t come as a total shock,” he admitted.
“Of course I’d rather stay alive but you can’t be precious about it. It’s all about the story.”

Ian, who has been in the show for four seasons now, said it was sad filming his final scenes – knowing he was never coming back.
” I guess there is part of you, in the back of your mind, that is aware that this is the end and that’s obviously disappointing.
“Of course it is, I’ve been on the show for four years and made some great friends. But characters live and some die and that’s the nature of the beast,” he admitted.
Ian said he will miss “the actors, the crew, the laughs, everyone” after enjoying his time on the RTE drama.

” It’s sad that I won’t get the call in February to say we’re getting the gang back together but I wish all of them the best with the rest of it and with there future endeavours.
“Love/Hate has been very good to me over the years. I’m very proud of it.”
Meanwhile Ian revealed he has landed a part in a new TV series but remained tight-lipped on the details.
“I’ve just finished Mark O’ Rowe’s new play at the Abbey. I’m filming a bit on a TV series at the moment. I can’t say much more than that.
“I’ve a film called “Standby” coming out next week and I’m back on stage 10th December with Dublin Oldschool written by Emmett Kirwan and directed Philly McMahon.”

After promising Detective Monynihan that she can get the gang for good she headed to Fran’s yard to try and find the bone.
But Tommy’s girl finds herself hiding when Fran arrives to kill Dean.
