Simon Cowell claims 'terrible' Louis Walsh is entirely to blame as TWO of his acts sent home

Louis Walsh was left “shell shocked” this evening after two of his X Factor groups were booted out of the competition.

The Mayo manager lost half his category when Blonde Electra and Overload Generation were voted out.

But fellow judge Simon Cowell immediately attacked Louis as part of the reason for the two acts going home.

He said: “Louis did a terrible job last night with his groups.” He added that it was a “no brainer” Overload Generation went home.

Now Louis has said his two remaining acts are “going to have to work harder” next week as “there’s some really talented acts here”.

He added: “I’m shell shocked losing two acts. I don’t know what went wrong, they basically didn’t get enough votes.”

American twins Blonde Electra were the first to be voted off as the act with the lowest number of votes out of all 16 that performed.

Speaking after the vote, the 62-year-old said he expected them to be in the bottom as he doesn’t feel the public “got to know the girls”.

But Louis admitted he wasn’t “expecting to lose the boys – I thought they would go on for weeks and weeks”.

However he insisted that he was “quietly confident” that despite his ordeal there would be at least one of his acts in the final.
