Sharon Corr eyes up return to The Voice of Ireland

Sharon Corr has revealed she wants to come back to the Voice of Ireland.

The Corrs star has featured in two seasons of the RTE show, before quitting to tour her solo record.

But the 44-year-old has now told show bosses that she would “absolutely” consider coming back – as she issues a come and get me plea.

“Absolutely, sure I would, because I loved that experience and the only reason I didn’t do it this year was that I was releasing my record and touring, which takes priority for me.

“We’ll see about it, I do intend to tour this album for another year because I do it organically and release in every territory as I go, but I’d certainly be open to another series,” she told The Herald.

“It was fun and it felt nice that people liked me when they saw me on TV, saw I was a decent person.”

It comes as the line up for the next season of the show is being sorted – with Bressie, Jamelia, Kian Egan and Dolores O’Riordan not yet confirmed to return.
