RTE drama trilogy Charlie starring Aidan Gillen and Tom Vaughan Lawlor is set for a special DVD release.
The political series, which has already caused controversy around the country, will be hitting shelves on Janury 23rd.
Love/Hate actor stars as Charlie Haughey in the drama, and has come under fire for his portrayal of the former Taoiseach.
Based on real events, the series chronicled the life of Charles Haughey from his successful bid for leadership of his party Fianna Fail in 1979 to his departure from political life in 1992.

Despite the controversy surrounding the former Taoiseach, Aidan insisted the trilogy series is not about judging the politician.
He said: “It wasn’t my intention to do an impersonation because you can do that really well, but that’d be too much.”
“This drama is not about being judgmental. It’s about exciting times in the life of our State and the emergence of a modern Ireland, with Haughey at the forefront,” he said.
