Roxanne Pallett set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house – just weeks after horror car crash

The actress has been offered a huge sum of money

Roxanne Pallett is set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house next week.

According to the Daily Star, the former Emmerdale star has signed a £750,000 contract to appear on the reality show – just weeks after she was involved in a car crash.

A show insider said, “Bookers have wanted to sign Roxanne for a long time. They’ve finally got their way, but for a top-rate fee.”

Last month, Roxanne crashed into a wall at 40mph while racing her Minster FM radio show co-host Ben Fry at Hunmanby raceway, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

The 35-year-old lost consciousness, and it took firefighters two hours to cut her from the wreckage. Roxanne suffered a concussion, severe bruising and two sprained wrists.

According to reports, Roxanne will join former Corrie star Ryan Thomas, Love Island’s Gabby Allen, ex-Towie star Dan Osborne, Married At First Sight’s Ben Jardine, Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves, Star Trek’s Kirstie Alley and porn star Stormy Daniels in the house.
