Rochelle Humes confirms she’s taking over from Holly Willoughby on This Morning

The former Saturdays star is filling in for Holly for five weeks

Rochelle Humes has confirmed that she’s taking over from Holly Willoughby on This Morning.

The TV presenter will jet to Australia next month, as she’s covering for Ant McPartlin alongside Declan Donnelly on the upcoming seres of I’m A Celeb.

Confirming the news on Instagram, Rochelle posted a photo of herself at ITV studios.

She wrote: “It’s official, I’m gonna be seeing this place a lot more. ✨ Thrilled to be joining @thismorning for a little bit.”

“Thanks @hollywilloughby @schofe for having me. Have THE best time down under @hollywilloughby and I’ll take care of your seat while you’re gone ????????.”

Thankfully, Rochelle is no stranger to the role as she has previously covered presenting duties alongside husband Marvin Humes and Gok Wan.

However, this will be Rochelle’s first time presenting alongside Holly’s telly partner Phillip Schofield.

A source told The Sun: “As soon as bosses for This Morning learnt that Holly had accepted the role on I’m A Celebrity they drafted their wish list and Rochelle was at the top.”

“Obviously, Holly’s are big shoes to fill. But Rochelle has been impressing bosses with her down-to-earth nature and presenting skills for a while now.

“Rochelle is super excited about being asked and she knows what a huge career opportunity this is.”

Meanwhile, it’s believed Holly landed a massive six figure deal to stand in for Ant, as he continues to take time off following his drink-driving arrest earlier this year.
