After months of speculation that Daniella Moyles was in the running to host Xpose, the presenter has admitted she went for a screen test.
The model, who came to fame after starring in TV3’s original search for a new presenter in 2009’s Total Xposure, had been linked to the show again this year.
“I suppose people kept making the connection because I did Total Xposure for TV3 but I didn’t even go for Xpose this time, my name just keeps coming up,” she said.
“I rang Debbie O’Donnell who produces the show and asked her was it true that I was being considered to take over from Aisling O’Loughlin when she was on maternity leave.”

“Debbie told me to pop in for a screen test,” she told the Irish Mirror.
But Daniella lost out on the role, which was later won by Michelle Doherty.
And while Daniella is the new host of Spin 1038’s Zoo Crew, reporter Peter O’Riordan has become the new face of Xpose.
