Love/Hate star Peter Coonan has insisted he loves “coola boola” being shouted at him in the street.
But the Dubliner is only delighted – because punters aren’t cooling him crap, or worse.
And the 30-year-old has now come to realise that for the foreseeable future people will just know him as Fran.
He said: “It’s just the way it is. It would be a lot worse if they were shouting obscenities at me.

“People really associate me with Fran and it’s up to me as an actor to show I can take on other roles.
“Sometimes that can be a bit frustrating, but it’s such a brilliant role to be associated with, that at the end of the day, it’s not too bad at all.”
It comes as Peter is getting ready to star in a stage version of Brendan Behan’s Borstal Boy at the Gaiety Theatre.

But Peter knows it will be a lot more demanding having to perform the same thing day in, day out for six weeks.
He added; “In theatre, you’re given a month to rehearse so you’re more prepared, but it’s demanding in a different way, because it’s seven shows a week for six weeks.”
