Love/Hate creator Stuart Carolan has warned that the new season will end just as appallingly as series four.
Fans were up in arms when the last season of the RTE show ended with Nidge going berserk in a cell – claiming it was a cop out.
But Stuart admitted people will be left just as outraged by season five’s ending – as he loves a mad-cap summing up.

He said: “I’m a fan of oddending series. In my own case the endings tend to write themselves, and when it’s over, you kind of know it’s over.”
He was speaking as Goss.ie revealed the latest trailer for the new season of the gangland series.
And Stuart revealed that despite not having any criminal advisors – he does get advice from people who have been banged up.

“You are always hearing things from people. You’d be surprised how many people have been inside prison,” he told the Irish Sun.
“It’s not a big deal. You get some interesting stories listening to people talking about their lives.”
