Nadia Forde: ‘Celebrity MasterChef was worse than I’m A Celeb’

Nadia Forde has admitted that Celebrity MasterChef was worse than I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The Irish model appeared in the jungle back in 2014, but revealed that getting “buried in rats” has nothing on the pressures of the Masterchef kitchen.

The 27-year-old has competed in TV3’s Celebrity MasterChef this year, alongside Holly Carpenter and Samantha Mumba – and admitted that it was anything but easy.

“The pressure when you’re in a kitchen… when you’re buried in rats you just have to kind of get through it and just mentally be somewhere else,” Nadia told Independent.ie.

“Here, you’re just so exposed. If it doesn’t taste right, you just can’t hide.”

“I hope that people will really get a feel for the pressure and how stressful it is in that kitchen,” she said.

Nadia, who has been residing in Japan with her rugby beau Dominic Day since earlier this year, is set to return to Ireland around Christmas time for her first lead role in a panto.

Nadia will star as Princess Jasmine in Aladdin at Dublin’s Tivoli theatre.

Despite Nadia’s woes, fellow contestant Holly Carpenter is glad she took up the opportunity.

Meanwhile, Holly Carpenter says she was truly out of her comfort zone during filming.

“There’s ten of us and it’s just been so mental… It’s very kind of stressful.

“It is a challenge but I’m glad I said ‘yes’,” she said.
