MTV called time on their hit show Ex On The Beach following the tragic death of Mike Thalassitis.
Mike Thalassitis was found dead – at the age of just 26 – of a confirmed suicide.
The former Love Island star was on the cast of the most recent season of Ex On The Beach, which was axed and never aired following his passing.
“Bosses still believe in the format and they’re going to try to learn the same lessons as Love Island,” a source told The Sun.
“They definitely don’t feel it’s over yet, even though some fans might question the decision.”
MTV released a statement at the time of Mike’s death in March of 2019, saying: “We were very sad to hear the tragic news and our thoughts are with his family and friends.”
