Max Joseph, the co-host to Nev Schulman on MTV’s Catfish is leaving the show for good.
The TV star has announced he is leaving after this series is over.
Taking to Twitter, Max said he is leaving the hugely popular reality series to pursue more filmmaking opportunities.

“Working on this show for the last seven years has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life,” he wrote on Twitter.
“I’ve learned a lot about myself, my country and human nature in general. Nev and I have become brothers and our bromance has blossomed before your eyes.”
Of course, Nev released his own statement, saying the series won’t be the same without him.
It is with a very heavy heart, that all of us at the #catfish family say goodbye to @maxjoseph – Good luck Max, love you brother. pic.twitter.com/is2b4PDOsd

The news comes after filming was “suspended” temporarily after Nev was accused of “sexual misconduct”, MTV later said an investigation found the allegations to have no merit.
