Mrs Brown’s Boys star Jennifer Gibney has revealed she is delighted to have been chucked off Strictly Come Dancing.
The Dubliner admitted she never wanted to get to the finals – as that would have warn her out while filming the Christmas special of the BBC show.
Goss.ie revealed earlier in the week that the 50-year-old has been back at work with Mrs Brown’s Boys for the last two weeks, working on the festive special in Glasgow.

And Jenny said: “Being voted off meant I had the last two weeks to concentrate on Mrs Brown’s Boys, which is really time consuming.
“So things worked out perfectly. I would have been worn out travelling between London and Glasgow if I had been kept in, so every cloud has a silver lining.”
But Jenny, who had been paired with Wicklow man Tristan MacManus on the series, added to the Sunday World that she enjoyed her time on the series.
She added: “I loved being on Strictly and I got to learn to jive, to waltz, and to foxtrot.”
