Love/Hate's Dean opens up about new Game of Thrones role

He’s better known for his character Deano on RTE crime drama Love/Hate but Ian Llyod Anderson has landed a coveted role on HBO mega hit Game of Thrones.

Remaining tight lipped on his part in the hugely successful show, Ian did reveal he was blown away by the impressive set.

“I’m not sure what I can even say about it. It’s a very small part, but some really lovely scenes,” he admitted.

“It’s a huge production, like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and when I arrived out there it blew my mind.”

“I loved it, but that’s as far as I’m going,” he added.

Starring in the 50th anniversary production of The Field, Ian recently married his long-term love Kimberly.

After taking a few days off to get married in Wicklow, Ian revealed he and his new wife will be staying put until summer.

“We wouldn’t be able to go away anyway – Kim’s a teacher – so we’ll do it in the summer or whenever I have time off,” he told the Herald.
