Love/Hate star Aoibhinn McGinnity has revealed starring in the biggest show in the country hasn’t helped her love life.
The TV actress – who plays Trish in the show – claimed men never chat her up and revealed she’s still single.
Previously the 28-year-old has been dating Coronas frontman Danny O’Reilly but said she’s currently “not seeing anyone.”
Asked if men chat her up after seeing her on the TV, she said: “No, they don’t. I don’t think so anyway.

“You spend more of your life not being used to anything like male attention, than you are being used to it. It never gets really normal.”
But the RTE mot – who plays Trish on the show – is finding it hard to still get used to the fame that comes from the series.
She said: “Being recognised never gets normal – people roar ‘Trish!’. It can be uncomfortable and you just don’t know what to do but they are well meaning.”
However Aoibhinn insists she is doing well at keeping the scripts underwraps for the has fifth season of the RTE show – which she insists will be the “strongest” yet.
She said: “I haven’t got any bribes from friends or family members yet asking for plot twists and turns. I think they know at this stage it’s a lost cause.”

And the Monaghan beauty said playing the role is a “dream come true” – all thanks to Love/Hate.
“Musical theatre has been a huge passion of mine from a young age and I’m really looking forward to performing on The Bord Gais Energy Theatre stage,” she said.
“I’m really grateful for the opportunities that Love/Hate has brought my way and it’s brilliant that I’m getting new parts as a result of its success.”
