Love/Hate bosses are forcing the cast to sign confidentiality agreements to stop them giving away the plotlines.
But star Laurence Kinlan – who plays Elmo – insisted that most of the crew don’t want to spoil the series.
Asked if Elmo was back, he said: “He’s there. We’re kind of keeping tight-lipped.
“I’m sure you get everybody in every year from the cast and they just don’t say much.
“Well I can’t. We do sign agreements, but I think they’re confident enough in us that we won’t talk about it anyway. And no one really wants to know.

“I’m sure if I sat here and talked about what’s going to happen on the next season of Love/Hate a lot of your listeners wouldn’t want to hear it.”
Meanwhile Laurence – who recently welcomed his son Ollie to the world – insisted he isn’t a massive acting success even with Love/Hate.
He said: “It’s funny, Love/Hate’s become so massive that people just assume you’re an overnight success. Far from it.”
