Love/Hate is getting set to see more than a million people tuning into next week’s finale as ratings bounce back.
Figures released by RTE show that 962,000 viewers tuned into this week’s episode where Dean was killed off by Fran.
It’s 90,000 more than watched the same episode last series – and is the second highest of the season after 976,000 tuned in for the first instalment.

Last week there were only 769,000 watching live because of the Bank Holiday, although 218,000 caught up during the week.
Now RTE expect it is likely to massively beat the 1,007,500 who watched last year’s finale – with it likely to get over 1.1 million.
That would make it the most watched show of the year, and is likely to only be beat by the Late Late Toy Show.
RTE Head of Drama Jane Gogan said she is thrilled with viewing figures for the series to date.
“The fact that Love/Hate’s audience continues to grow this year is testament to the immense creative talent and professionalism of the series’ writer, producers, director and crew and a magnificent cast of actors,” she said.
“To grow the audience when audience numbers are generally in decline is an extraordinary achievement.”
